These sculptures are what is known as 'cold cast bronze' or 'bronze resin'. This technique involves blending bronze powder with epoxy resin to produce a material which is applied to the interior of the silicone mould. Subsequent applications of this will produce a shell into which an armature (wire frame) can be constructed. The mould is then filled with a blend of resin and metal powders which are left to set. If this was solid bronze, it would be a LOT more expensive!
